What happens after a background check is complete?
After a background check is completed, the results are provided to the client. The client reviews and evaluates the results. Allied Screening is not involved in making decisions and has no information about each employer's process or the current status of an individual application.
Does Allied Screening decide if I am hired?
No. All hiring decisions are made exclusively by the employer. Allied Screening does not make hiring decisions and cannot provide details surrounding the status of an application or criteria involved in a hiring decision. Any questions about employment should be directed to the company which you applied to.
Where can I find a summary of my rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA)?
The employment screening industry is federally regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), which imposes requirements on both screening providers and employers.

Can I get a copy of my background report?
Yes. When providing information for a background report, there is a checkbox to receive a free copy of the report when completed. You can also request a copy from the company who ordered it, or by requesting one below.
What if a record reported is incorrect on my report?
You can file a dispute using the Candidates Form further down on this page.
